Partnerships
Our goal as a nonprofit is to make as big on an impact on our communities as possible. As such, our members have worked to partner with local organizations to spread the word and help their community as much as possible! Scroll to take a look at what we've done.
Partnership with ENT Surgeons Medical Center
With the help of our CEO Abigail, our Singapore chapter leader DK Lam established a partnership with the ENT Surgeons Medical Center in Singapore. The surgeons will provide our website to patients when mental health resources are needed and joint events between our businesses are in the works!
Special thank you to Dr. Jenica Yong for providing personalized recommendations for mental health resources in Singapore.
Partnership with Nonprofit Over the Rainbow
With the help of our CEO, Abigail, our Singapore chapter leader, DK Lam, established a partnership with the nonprofit Over the Rainbow (OTR) in Singapore. Over the Rainbow (OTR) is an approved IPC Charity that focuses on youth mental wellness and community wellbeing. Unlike other organizations and resources that focus on intervention after issues arise, OTR focuses on education, prevention and pre-emption: addressing mental health issues and challenges before they even arise.
Implementing prevention methods before issues arise is vital in societies because it allows individuals, especially youth, to develop resilience and coping skills that can help them navigate through life challenges. Prevention, preemption and early intervention is where the battle for youth mental health and community wellbeing is won. OTR hosts wellness workshops, support groups, online chat platforms, listening spaces, and champions an inside-out approach to mental healthcare. Their team will provide our website to youths (age 13-35) and their parents when mental health resources are needed, and joint events between our businesses are in the works.
Partnership with Avita MD
Our CEO Abigail organized a partnership with Avita MD, a medical private practice with locations in Los Altos and Mountain View. The practice specializes in general checkups, injections, and ultrasound appointments. The practice's general physicians will use our directory to refer SF patients to mental health resources, and all our SF resources have been backed by Avita MD.
Partnership with Youth For Health
Our CEO Abigail worked with Jamaican chapter leader Gabriella Steele on a partnership with Youth for Health. Youth for Health is a Jamaican organization that focuses on fighting for the local citizens' health. The group was formed after Jamaica's healthcare system broke down due to COVID-19, and the organization provides mental health forums for those needing to talk about their issues.
Partnership with Anato Village
With the help of our CEO Abigail, Amelia, our chapter leader in Nagaland reached out to representatives in Anato Village, and they agreed to partner with the nonprofit to promote the importance of mental health and the mental health resources on our website!
